I'm Dries Coutigny, the founder and driving force behind Textuur, a ceramics label established in 2019.

My passion for minimalist design took root during my industrial design studies. Textuur grew from a simple but persistent urge: the need to create objects with my own hands.

In 2021, I built my own studio in Merelbeke — a place where I can fully immerse myself in every step of the process. Conceiving, testing, making, refining: it brings me deep satisfaction, and the constant drive to push further.

Textuur stands for pure, minimalist and functional ceramics. Every piece is handmade, with care and dedication, in my studio.
